What is the concept of Netlinkin
The concept of netlinking aims to establish links between different websites. These links mainly serve to transfer some of the power of the source page to which they point. We call it the “juice” of the connection, symbolizing, among other things, this transmission.
In other words, netlinking represents a natural referencing technique that aims to improve the visibility of a site.
Schematically, a backlink creates a relationship of trust between site A and site B. Netlinking is therefore based on the use of these links.
However, there are two types of links: Dofollow links and Nofollow links.
Nofollow links mean that search engine bots don’t follow them. They convey neither popularity nor SEO juice. As for Dofollow links, these are conventional links, without any particular attributes; they are the ones who transmit popularity.
A backlink can be composed of:
- Natural connectionswhich are formed organically thanks to third-party sites, without financial compensation. They follow search engine guidelines. These links are officially licensed and offer many SEO benefits.
- Artificial connectionsthat are intentionally created through link exchanges or link purchases. However, these practices should be used with caution, as they may be considered misleading by search engines, and therefore necessarily by Google.
How to implement your netlinking strategy?

If you’re looking to maximize the effectiveness of your networking approach, there are several methods to consider.
What are they?
- Inbound link acquisition: You may want to consider paying to get backlinks from third-party sites that have high authority. However, this practice is not encouraged by Google because it can devalue the overall value of links on the web.
- Link exchange: this technique involves establishing partnerships with other sites, in similar domains, to publish links reciprocally. This method can be effective if the content is quality, relevant and obviously related to the theme of your site.
- Social backlinks : You can share links on social networks. Although the latter have a limited SEO impact due to the “nofollow” attribute. They can still generate traffic to your site. Additionally, you can establish a balanced link profile, including “nofollow” backlinks, to avoid arousing suspicion from search engines.
- Creating manual links : this technique consists in identifying sites, forums (see my opinion on the netlinking.fr platform) or blogs that match your criteria in terms of authority, theme and audience, then publishing the links to your pages yourself. Although the SEO impact is limited, the risk of penalties is moderate.
- Get natural links : this practice, called “linkbaiting”, consists of creating high-value, original, even viral content that entices Internet users and webmasters to create links to your pages. These backlinks are completely natural, benefit from a solid semantic context and stand out for their quality. This is the method recommended by Google. If I had to remember only one practice, it would be this!
- Use of press reports : Another approach to linkbaiting involves releasing information to the media in the hope that they will link to your site. These backlinks are natural and come from sites with high authority, which makes them especially valuable. This method can also be used with influencers. The possibilities are different!
- Publishing sponsored articles : These popular sponsored articles allow you to enjoy the benefits of a natural link while having total control over their creation. Although this technique is paid, the quality of the content and its harmonious integration on the main site make it practically undetectable by search engines.
